1. Who we are
BCBA Measurement Practice Lab (“the site,” “we,” “us”) is an independent study tool for original BCBA practice questions aligned to the public BACB 6th Edition Test Content Outline (Domains A–I), plus optional clinical and professional-readiness practice surfaces. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, password (stored by our auth provider as a secure hash, not readable by us as plain text), and optional display name.
- Practice data: quiz sessions, answers, scores, missed-item flags, and related progress counters tied to your account.
- Technical data: standard web logs and cookies needed to keep you signed in and run the application (for example session cookies managed by Supabase Auth).
We do not intentionally collect payment card data, government IDs, or biometric data. Do not submit sensitive clinical patient data in free-text fields.
3. How we use data
- Create and secure your account
- Run practice quizzes and show your progress
- Operate admin tools if your account is an authorized administrator
- Maintain, debug, and improve the service
- Comply with law when required
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Processors and hosting
Account authentication and database storage are provided by Supabase (Postgres and Auth). The application may be hosted on infrastructure such as Vercel. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts when the site layout requests them.
5. Retention
We keep account and practice records while your account remains active and as needed to operate the product. If you want your account deleted, contact the site operator (see Section 8). We will delete or anonymize personal account data within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention needs and backups that expire on a normal schedule.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate for a small study product, including encrypted transport (HTTPS in production), hashed passwords via the auth provider, and database access controls so students cannot read answer keys before submitting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The site is intended for adult learners and professionals preparing for certification-related study. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your choices and contact
You may update your display name (where the product allows), sign out, and stop using the service. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account data, contact the site operator using the email associated with site administration or any contact method the operator publishes. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
10. Independence reminder
Practice performance on this site does not predict or guarantee performance on any certification examination. See also our Terms of Use.
